With the introduction of Polystyrene cladding systems into the building industry over the past decade, traditional render systems have been forced to evolve to suit application to light weight substrates. However, a challenge remains within the building industry and that is ‘how to apply stone features to light weight substrates such as styrene’.
At Tuscan we have developed a system for the application of light weight acrylic stone to foam & other light weight substrates. The sample illustrated here identifies our process of application, yet the stone applied is not actually stone. Through proprietary based methods our team can replicate and produce varying stone types and match them to their real counterparts.
